T MASEKO ATTORNEYS is a young and vibrant law firm which is founded on the principle of providing legal services of the highest calibre, efficiently and cost-effectively.
The firm was founded by Mr Tyrone Maseko who after 7 years of practice with two of South Africa’s biggest law firms felt that although client’s of these big firms were getting exceptional service from professionals at these firms there is a broad market, which makes up a substantial percentage of the economy of this country which is under-serviced. Tyrone then set out to found T MASEKO ATTORNEYS with a view to providing to its clients a standard of service that one would ordinarily associate with big firms in a cost-effective manner.
After completing an LLB degree at the University of KwaZulu Natal in 2005 Tyrone served articles with Webber Wentzel in Johannesburg.
Upon completion of his articles of clerkship at the end of 2007, Tyrone was appointed as a junior associate in the competition law department at Webber Wentzel.
In May 2010 Tyrone moved to Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs Inc. in Sandton and was promoted to a senior associate position in 2011 where he practiced until founding T MASEKO ATTORNEYS in 2012.
Since entering the legal profession Tyrone has acted in a number of matters for local and international, listed and unlisted companies in, inter alia, the following industries:
